Capsule Geology

The area of the Scotch 2 showing is underlain by Triassic quartz diorite of the Hickman Batholith. Potassium feldspar-altered intrusive rock contains black, probably chloritized, monolithic fault breccia that contains traces of chalcopyrite. One sample yielded 0.21 per cent copper and 2 grams per tonne silver (Sample 32728, Assessment Report 21061).
